The Art Squad was formed in 1994 to represent South African illustrators, cartoonists and storyboard artists. Over the years we have seen several illustrators come and go but the reputation of The Art Squad has survived any single artist. Our clients trust that their illustrations will be managed closely so that not only will deadlines be met but their artwork delivered to brief. Alongside 3D photorealistic renderings, digital and traditional illustration, cartoons, graphic recordings, animated instructional videos and caricatures, a big focus of ours has always been storyboards and layouts.

From the outset as an artist/illustrator Ivan has strived to develop a level of versatility that would make him relevant in a wide range of applications.
From portraits and wildlife in oils to digital rendering and storyboards, Ivan has a truly wide range of abilities as an illustrator. But in recent years he has focused his skills on working mainly as a storyboard artist and has proven to be a great asset to The Art Squad in this respect. He is quick, slick, experienced and easy to deal with, all important attributes of any successful renderer.
